About us
Space to be social
We’re a family-owned and operated luxury hotel in the inspired setting of Silicon Valley. With deep connections to our Stanford University community, there’s a spirit of easy warmth and familial service at the heart of everything we do.
The Stanford Park Hotel is built on acres of thriving grounds, so you can shoot the breeze in our lively courtyard or enjoy a quiet stroll through the gardens. Settle in by the fire and let us look after you – no need to stand on ceremony or formality. Here, luxury comes naturally.

Our History
A storied setting
The Stanford Park Hotel opened its doors in 1984, when a local family made its dream – to share the charm of its community with visitors from around the world – a reality.
For more than 40 years, we’ve nurtured this sense of conviviality, forming a natural gathering place at the crossroads of Silicon Valley and Stanford University. And while many things have changed through the years, the founding mission to bring people together in a comfortably stylish environment has been our constant.

Giving Back
Deeply rooted in the community
We're proud to be conscientious stewards of our environment and actively engaged in supporting the local community.
Our ongoing environmental programs include energy, water, and paper conservation; waste reduction; hazardous materials recycling; local and sustainable food procurement; and environmentally responsible fixture, appliance, and furniture repurposing.
We're fortunate to partner with numerous local organizations, and we are very proud to support a variety of charities and causes. Some of these include Menlo Park Fire Protection's Pancake Breakfast supporting the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation, Inside Anne's Closet supporting the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, and Peninsula Volunteers Inc. supporting Meals on Wheels and services for local seniors in need.
